Some teens are...SCARED of their parents being anywhere near them, but we should not be!

Oh my goodness! I am so surprised these days by being around other teens who are scared to be around their parents in public. People that I become pretty close with are embarrassed by their parents even walking with them somewhere, it's ridiculous! I truly understand that some parents are crazy, and they may say things about you that you wish they would never say, or do things that are very embarrassing. But, that gives us no reason to act like they are some alien when they are around you and your friends.
~ Just think of all the things that your parents do for you...you may become more grateful for them when you think of it that way!

This year has been so amazing for me! The Lord has given me so many different areas to serve and that, to me, is so cool! Here are some pictures of what I've been up to lately!

Dance

I don't know who in the world would not dance...but it's crazy! I LOVE to dance. Now, when most people here the word dance and teenagers...it's not always the most pleasant idea or picture in their head. I do a dance program called "The Dancingrits", it is just for homeschool students in the atlanta area and it is AWESOME! We do like ballroom stuff and also line dances. I am SO blessed that I have this opprotunity..you need to check out their website to see what their about.

Friends

You know,
for the longest time I thought that I would have NO friends. Me and my cousin Katie are best friends so I knew that we would always have each other. The thing was, I was not that great with boys, not so good with just walking up to people and really NOT good with sports. So, the question was; will I every have anyone that likes be besides Katie and will there ever be anyone out there who believes in what I believe in?
~ The Lord had something else in mind though. I was able to find friends that the Lord brought to me and it was not all that bad. I am SO, SO thankful for the girls and guys that He has given to me as friends. This week me and my girlfriends had a camp-out and it was SO fun. It's amazing that something so simple as sitting around a fire and playing games in a tent can be so fun. Here is a picture.

Oh man girls!
I'm so sorry for putting this off like I have. It's bee like weeks since I've blogged and I'm sorry.
I tried to get the video on and that was a dud...it didn't work :(
So I need to do something.....I need to tell all of you that I got my learners license! Yeah...I'm so happy! It was definitely a blessing that I passed.....I couldn't have done it without the Lord!

As you probably know...there is a place for you to leave a comment at the bottom of this recent blogg. Leave a comment telling us a story of the car/licence/riding in the car/driving/testing....that way it gets us a little more involved!

Me my siblings and some one of my cousins made an extremely funny video and I can't wait for y'all to see it. But in the mean time I'd like you to think of a new years goal....for me its to grow closer to God than ever. I really do want to make it a major priority to spend more time with the Lord to let the message soak in. I hope that you all will make a goal as well...oh and me and my brother are working on our crunches every day and we're trying to get a little firmer tummy.....I don't mean an 8 pack or something but you know...better than what we have! Haha :)
